The Sudbury Guitar Trio returned to the Sudbury music scene recently with a tribute show at Little Montreal. The trio did an excellent job covering and doing their own take on a wide variety of music ranging from classic rock, western and music of the Americas. There was something for everyone and everyone had a great time! – SNAP Sudbury, Subsequent performances of SGT, “Music of the Americas” program included the 2012 Bell Park Concert Series, 2012 Sudbury Summerfest and 2013 Kiwanis Charter Night. With extensive marketing and promotional activities including development of their social media presence, performances in unconventional local venues, volunteering for charitable concert events and fundraisers, and most recently with a full-page exposé in the Sudbury Star titled “Just Strumming Along”, the SGT is fast becoming one of Ontario’s leading guitar trios. Concert programs combine traditional classical repertoire with pop, rock and world music arrangements that aim to reach the widest audience demographic.
